High case enterobiasis in school children and potential eggs distribution on the bed

Background: Enterobiasis caused by Enterobius vermicularis is a health manifestation of severe concern that needs to be monitored in children because its recurrence. The cases are relatively frequent children. patient will experience discomfort which starts as itching the perianal area. A decreased quality life can also occur who lose nutrients due this worm infection. Methods: cross-sectional study was conducted on 63 elementary school students outskirts city Central Java province, Indonesia. Microscopic examination smear specimens and children's bedding conducted. Results: incidence enterobiasis reached 96.8% all under study, while distribution eggs 93.7%. presence both significantly related (p=0.000). contributed sleeping bed 49.18% (R2=0.4918) Conclusion: promising threat children, through have regular annual checkups before taking treatment.
